Presbyterian Women Synod Gathering
June 16-19, 2022
Hilton Garden Inn
1132 Larsen Park Road
Sioux City, IA 51106
Experience a time of hope, praise and fellowship. This will be a time to grow your faith. It will be a place where having time to be with God/Creator and other women is a priority. It will be a time to reconnect, renew, and grow. The Gathering will explore the PW Purpose in a variety of ways. Plenary (entire group) sessions and keynote speakers will focus on specific points of our purpose. Workshops will provide information about a wide range of topics, including PW missions. A hands-on mission opportunity will be a time to sew school bags. Giving from your hearts and wallets will allow you to support Lila Mae House, All About You Adoptions, Marion Medical Mission and the Dr. Susan LaFlesche Picotte Center.
Even more enticing is that the Gathering will give you a chance to lift your voice in praise by being part of the Gathering Choir; you will meet and make new friends; you will share laughter, smiles, hugs and tears; you will gather new ideas for your local PW group; you will enjoy great food and hotel accommodations located along a beautiful river walk. But best of all will be the many unexpected blessings happening all around you and to you. Please come join us!
Start each plenary by hearing the word of God from our Worship Leader Rev. Danelle Crawford McKinney. Danelle is a member of the non-geographic Dakota Presbytery, currently working at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas where she resides with her husband Ron and teenage son, Ronston. She has 2 adult daughters, Alethia Oatman from Idaho. and Madison McKinney from Lawrence, KS. She brings a unique outlook to our Gathering as she helps us to ponder God’s calling through her eyes and experiences that will guide each of us to understand our own calling.
